This role will focus on Privacy and Data Protection, a super niche market we've been building since 2018 which now has a global footprint with US counterparts. We are known as industry experts in this space, we actively advise our clients on hiring strategies working mainly retained business.
Where is this opportunity?
This opportunity is based in our spacious London HQ located in the bustling St Paul’s area, in the City of London. The office overlooks St Pauls Cathedral and is surrounded by great places to eat and drink, do some shopping or work out. Our largest LHi office, a cultural melting pot of three brands (Life Sciences, Tech and Renewables), healthy contract and perm split & 7+ different nationalities!

The Cyber team is led by Ben Coverdale, with the Privacy & Data Protection vertical led by James Boobyer. This seat has become available due to an international relocation - one of the London team moved to the US. This is a unique opportunity to walk into an established desk, that consistently generates between £200k-300k! Ideally, we are looking for someone with a Privacy / Data Protection background, however, everyone in this team joined from a data or tech related background therefore, we are open to the profile of a Senior Consultant+.
As referenced, the market is niche, so a recruiter who has strong relationship building skills, who can demonstated networking at a senior level and takes 'golden candidates' to market will fit right in! The desk is 360, with expectation to win new business, however we have an extensive list of client terms already in place, the demand in this space has seen us quite literally turning business away! We're looking for a strategic thinker, a commercially minded individual, who can flip clients to candidates and working in a 'exec search' fashion.
Collaborating with the team and the wider brand, being on top of legislation and aware of market movements are all vital skills. Average fee's sit at £25K+, the highest fee this year has been £60k, we work 80% retained and the remainder is exclusive business. James (your potential manager) is in the top 3 most successful perm recruiters in the EU business. Being an Employee Owned business, has every recruiter pulling in the same direction, collaborating across brands and sharing candidates and clients for joint success!
