The LHi Passport Spotlight: Kieran's adventure
At LHi Group, we’re all about embracing adventure, both at work and in life. That’s why, after five years with us, our LHi’ers earn the coveted LHi Passport, allowing them to experience a week at any of our global offices.
It’s a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in a new culture, meet colleagues from all corners of the globe, and expand your horizons.
In line with our identity statement, “We are adventurous,” this benefit is all about exploring, connecting, and stepping out of your comfort zone. In this series, we’ll hear from those who have recently used their LHi Passport, sharing their experiences and the impact it’s had on them.
This time, we’re hearing from Kieran Aldred, Associate Director at Lawrence Harvey.
Which global office did you choose for your LHi Passport trip, and why?
I chose to use my 5-year LHi Passport to visit LA. I had never visited the U.S. West Coast before, so I wanted to take this opportunity to explore a new part of the country and catch up with several colleagues and friends I already know in LA.
How was your experience? What were your thoughts on that particular office?
It was great! Everyone in the LA office is welcoming, friendly, and a lot of fun. Plus, the walk to the office along the beachfront wasn’t too bad either.
What was the most memorable moment of your experience?
Seeing Adele at the Colosseum in Las Vegas.
Could you share some details about what you did during your time there?
Outside of work, I managed to catch an NFL game at the unbelievable SoFi Stadium, visit Malibu, go on a few hikes, enjoy amazing food, and relax by the pool. After my week in LA, my girlfriend and I also spent a week exploring Las Vegas and Utah.
What’s your top tip that you would give someone preparing for their own LHi Passport adventure?
Make sure you immerse yourself into the office and get everyone to send you their top recommendations beforehand so that you don’t miss out on anything!
